Red miso is made from soy beans, barley and other grains with a long fermentation process to create a mature taste, rich in umami flavours. The intense, salty flavour of red miso is a popular choice for giving many dishes a richer flavour.

How To Use

Miso is most famous for miso soup, but has many other uses.
• Add a spoonful of miso paste to hot dashi stock water to create miso soup.
• Marinade fish in miso before grilling for an authentic Japanese meal.
• Mix with soy and dashi stock to create a rich and filling soup base for noodle dishes.
